Forms are off and tiling going down

Put tar on the outside of the wall.

Some of the forms came off today.

Hopefully, they will finish the form removal tomorrow.
Look how much sand we have to fill under the garage floor!

Forums resume going up

Work has resumed on our house. By Wednesday, we should start pouring concrete!

Forms Going Up

Should start pouring concrete soon.It was very hot today. Over 93 deg F.

Footings are poured - Cave in!

Footings were poured on May 17th.












The small square above is under the garage.


As you can see, there was a cave in. We'll have to see how the concrete guys handle it.

Our New House

Well, the time has come to break ground on our new house. We purchased the lot over 1 year ago and we figured we had better dig the hole before the expiration date.
